Lensless & Low-Fidelity Explorations
These photographs were made in Kapp Cemetery, a small rural burial ground in North western Pennsylvania dating back to the nineteenth century. Using simple pinhole cameras, the long exposures soften the edges of the stones and trees, allowing time and atmosphere to become part of the image. The accompanying sound recording captures the quiet presence of the place while the photographs were made.
